Alisha Hamilton. And today, we're joined by Darlene Green, a remarkable individual whose personal journey intertwines with the realms of caregiving and innovative health solutions. At 58, Darlene navigated the challenges of being a caregiver for her husband, who was diagnosed with early Alzheimer's. But first of all, before we get started, I have to ask, how is your husband doing?

Well, my husband is he's got severely moderate dementia of Alzheimer's. So he is not you know, he's at six a which is a five year old toddler who needs help getting dressed. That's where my husband is now. He was in a place where he was not talking, sleeping the whole day away, really not engaging, not his personality, a zombie, really, a shell of his former self before. And then once we started catching him, he woke up. He started being energetic. He was awake all day. He never touched. You didn't take his three and a half hour nap anymore. He began engaging in conversation, talking really interacting and funny again and flirting again and back to being my husband. So in one.

And one week rich and one week he completely blossomed and came back to me. And so, you know, it's it's I just wish I would have known about these patches earlier because I think if I would have gotten on him way earlier, we wouldn't be where we are today.

So this is called my five x 39. And this is just the most miraculous thing. It's a photo bio modulation patch. There is nothing going in your skin. It's the size of a quarter. Well, my friend knew we had gone out of country four times to get stem cell ivy and injections at very, very high expense. I mean, any anything you do with stem cells is typically thousands, tens of thousands. So each ivy was $10,000. He did it and I did it. We did it for him for Alzheimer's. We did it for me for chronic fatigue syndrome or Epstein-Barr virus, Fibromyalgia and Potts, which is postural orthostatic tachycardia. I really wanted to stop fainting and passing out. That was my goal without having a medicine that increased my blood pressure. So we were both getting them and we just didn't see any results. And that was a lot of money in a year to put into I.V. stem cells, but nothing. We tried the hyperbaric chamber. We tried revamping diet and exercise, and we threw out alcohol and soda and any sugar and white flour and all of those things. Years ago, wow, Nothing was making a difference. And he was still he was still declining at a rapid speed. So my husband's got AP four four, which is the worst gene type you could have for Alzheimer's. He's got the Alzheimer's gene from both sets of parents and and he has early Alzheimer's. Both of those caused him to progress faster. Normally you would go from mild cognitive impairment to his stage of six AA in 11 to 13 years. He did it in two. All right. So this is why I was just desperate. So I had a friend who said, Darling, I know you're into stem cells. I have a I have been having this transformational experience in our family using these patches that elevate a copper peptide, then activates your stem cells. And she described for me her daughter, who has a rare genetic disorder and was 16 years old but behaved like a kindergartner, could not be left alone. Very combative, very problematic. Her cousin had this and was in bed round the clock pain meds and told, we're going to give you this pill, this pharmaceutical drug, it's going to kill you, but it's going to improve your quality of life until you die. And and she was like, Oh my God, let's let's not do that. Could you just try these patches? They've really changed our lives. Try this patch. And he did in three days. He was out of bed in weeks. He was traveling. He had sold all of his cows, his, you know, hearing to die like they were preparing to die. And now he's bought all of his cows back. He's living, he's fishing. I don't have to I don't have any body aches. I don't have any of the fibromyalgia pains. I also have so much more energy. I one of the best things that happened for me was it lifted my depression. And I will tell you honestly, it's hard for me to actually tell the world that I was depressed, but I had a pretty good reason to be. I had broken my foot, I had sprained my ankle. I was, you know, if I asked my husband to bring me a glass of water, he he would just look at me with deer in the headlights look. I don't know what you're asking. I don't know how to do that. Now he can. He sees my waters half full and he fills it up for me like he knows what to do. But back then he couldn't. And I would have to. I was dependent on him to get me water right, so I have to walk him through it. And it was just hard and I was like, okay, this is my life. I'm 58 years old and this was my life. And it was just really it was really a lot of despair, a lot of a lot of depression. I wanted to cry every single day. So the best thing the patches did for me of all was lift my depression. Like with just in a couple of weeks it just lifted and there's a steady explaining how that happens. But by lifting the depression and lifting my spirits and allowing me to live in a place of gratitude, I just it changed my life. That was my question. When I found out there were over 300 Olympic athletes wearing our life patches in the 2008 Olympics, you would think that I would be relieved by that. But I was kind of pissed off about it because I found out then, you know, from I recently, Tom Brady's wearing the patches. Kansas City Chiefs are wearing the patches. You know, Serena Williams, David Beckham, Michael Phelps, really big names wearing these patches. Why don't any well, why why do you think nobody knows about them? I mean, who owns the media, Who owns advertising, who owns big pharmaceutical? Big Pharma does not want you resolving your health issues at the root cause level. And there is there are people who can give you testimonials from everything from for bulging discs that that were just not you know, there's nothing you can do. There's no medical there's no, you know, in just 16 months it's straight and beautiful and there is no pain to healing

So I'm going to ask a question that is just, you know, it almost sounds like a too good to be true kind of thing. So I want to make sure to ask some questions that other people might be thinking. Yeah, I if it's capable of doing all these things, how come at the company start they didn't go like, I'm not sure how something becomes a pharmaceutical medicine and it's not really a medicine, you know, I understand that part. So I'm just kind of curious why it's a product on its own versus going into the medical world and going through that system.

Into the medical world. Well, a lot you'll find a lot of things that that go into the medical world that really can help the body. 

If they aren't going to make big pharma big money, they get squashed and died and tucked away in the graveyard. And the owner initially the first patches which were actually contracted, he was contracted by the Department of Defense to create these patches for US Navy SEALs to give them energy so that they could stay awake for four and five days at a time without amphetamines. So the very best practices were called energy enhancers. And then 911 hit and as a result of that, they kind of shut down that program. And he's like, you know, this this product is on fire. Everybody's loving it. Everybody's enjoying it. I'm going to take it private. Well, you can get it out in the market faster as a general wellness aid, right? Band-Aid it. It's FDA compliant. It doesn't have to go through that, you know, be 25 years of rigor in FDA for medical world. And it would probably never see the light of day. It would probably get squished because the impacts of it are so harmful to big pharma by taking away the need for all these drugs. People stop people, lower their blood pressure or get off of it. They lower their cholesterol meds or get off of it. They they don't have the thyroid, but I mean, there's just so many people, their insulin drops in half quickly and then sometimes they don't need it anymore. So these kinds of things are really not good for big pharma. So they he wanted it to be available to households anywhere without a prescription. No contraindications. There is you can be going through chemotherapy or any kind of treatment plan. There's no contraindications to anything. The only people that have to really hold hands tight with their doctor are people who have had an organ transplant and they have somebody else's organ in their body because it increases your immune system so dramatically. And they normally are on an immune suppressants kind of drug keeping that so that their body doesn't attack that alien organ. So they would just need to be very careful not to boost the immune system too much to have that happen. But there's from babies 2 to 2 grandparents, people are wearing these pouches and they're seeing amazing results. Even even 80 year olds, you know, are seeing the energy and the deep sleep and all of the good, you know, the coughs go away or or whatever. The knees feel strong. They're getting stronger.

Nobody talks about it. But it's really a blood. A blood issue. Yeah. And you know, it's a blood issue, right? It's a cardiovascular issue. There was a study that was done and this was an amazing study. Every six weeks somebody wore the x 39 patch. Their system, their cardiovascular system began to operate as if it were eight weeks younger. That's why I don't have any symptoms of parts anymore, I think. Wow, I think it just redid my cardiovascular system. So I'm getting blood to the brain the way I'm supposed to. No drug or medicine is going to fix my cardiovascular system ever. Right. There's another there was another study done in 2019 by Chevallier, a psych tech study, and they did EEGs and blood work and they did subjective exams where they talked to people. And here's what happened. The very first session they did an EEG. You could see red circles of red. And that red is indicative of ADHD, inflammation, hyper coherence. Hyper coherence is when the the crosstalk between the two hemispheres is not functioning properly. They that's a sign of a troubled brain and not a fully functioning, highly operating brain when it's got that red everywhere. Well, in three weeks of wearing x 39, 12 hours on and 12 hours off because you want your body to get a little break, you want your body not to get used to the signal where it stops responding, you know, because that's how things happen. So you go work out and you feel better and you eat better, and all of a sudden all of this, like it just gets better and better and better. And and so your whole health and wellness improved dramatically in just 24 hours wearing the x 39 patch, your body resets 3000 to 4000 genes to a younger and healthier state. That's wow, huge 3000. So good question. Most people there are there are patches and night patches. So one of them, there's a patch for sleep. It's silent Night. You would only wear that one at night. Right? And it does okay. You know, it is it improves your production of serotonin and melatonin. Naturally. So it's really lovely. So that's a nice patch, though. Yeah. There's another patch called Elevate It. It's also a night patch, and that's a patch that actually improves the health of your organs. And your skin is your largest organ. So what it's doing is it's elevating the epithelium and peptide. So if you think about this little patch has a little crystal lattice structure inside each crystal that a structure is different. And so each patch that is different is elevating a different thing, right? One is elevating. Good to seven x 39 is elevating GHQ, the alpha beta patches, elevating epithelium and that increases organ function. Well, people think of organs as all the stuff inside your skin is actually your largest organ. So when people start to see, you know, the lines are decreased and their skin looks better and the collaging and they're tight, tighter and I'm not kidding you, it's remarkable how soft my skin is tighter. And so what happens is by taking x 49, I know that it's going to go right to where I want it. It's going to improve his cardiovascular system, his focus, his cognition. And what I love about this patch for me, especially my age, is that it improves bone density and muscle mass. So, you know, everyone talks about, at my age, losing weight. Well, if you're really sensitive and you've got some nasty toxins in there and you're not drinking enough water, you can have that floating around and you can get a headache or you can start to feel fatigued. The one that's helping the school kids routes are I can't remember the name of Roots.

I love that they built it from scratch and that this was I built I helped with a team I stood in front of about, I don't know, 400 folks one weekend and said, Hey, I want to do I want to build a program that better supports you and your spouse when you come back from Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, all of these places. And I don't know what that needs to look like, but I bet you do. If you'll help me build that, let's let's change the support you all get. And I had a lot of volunteers. And in the course of the year, we built a curriculum. We got amazing keynote speakers. We had small group discussions and big discussion. We had about 120 people at a returnee where weekend workshop, that's what we called it, Returnee where weekend workshop. And this weekend was intended to bring the couple together and have conversations like in a small group. Why I want to go back. Well, imagine they've just gotten back from being deployed a year and one of the first things out of their mouth the first week they're home is I'm going to sign up and I'm going back. No, I. Okay. No, I. I had a couple major things happen. I divorced my daughter's father, and when I did that, I knew I was, you know, I had had a very successful career. Like I was selected for promotion a year ahead of my peers. I had been asked to go work for the head admiral in the Navy. You know, he offered me six different jobs, like I had really a lot of opportunity. But I also I'm you know, I worked a lot and I knew what that meant. That next step meant I would not be home to see and take care of my children. And it's one thing to be home and or to not be home if you've got a solid marriage and you've got a spouse helping and it's all fine. But when you fracture the family like that, like I did. Yeah. And they're their bio dad has 

narcissistic personality disorder and obsessive compulsive personality disorder and no boundaries. So we were always having to counter to the negative impacts of that. So I just had to I had to leave to be able to be there for my kids. And I wanted to be able to stabilize them in a place where my parents were around and my sister was around, you know, just family could be there. I had never, ever had family around while raising children at all. And so I was so grateful to finally be in a place where I could have family support. So as much as I loved the Navy, I was ready. I was ready. And I needed to. Oh.

I'm glad I joined. We were not, you know, women were barely on ships. Yeah, barely like I was. I thought about it initially came in. I wanted to fly jets. You can see I'm wearing glasses. My eyes went bad. My second year of college, and I and I, you know, was a marrying a surface warfare officer so that, you know, flying and surface warfare don't really go very well together. So, you know, I made the decision to just do the shore based management. And I love that ultimately for me, because it did allow me to be a mom and stay stay at home in a normal environment, not on a ship deployed for a year. And like my daughter has done right, those kinds of things are not easy when you have a family. So it's it worked out really well for me. Nobody today can do what I did. Like they have to go to sea. They have to be in either aviation or surface warfare or submarines. So my my girls couldn't do what I did, which, you know. Sorry.

it's kind of a toss up. I loved my my first major command. Well, not major command, because major commands mean something bigger, but I did. I had a commanding officer position in Orange, Texas. And we it was interesting. I was the first woman base commander and they 

it was southeast Texas and very different world there. And so I loved this because I was a very big part of the community and they were very, very gracious, very beautiful. And I had a staff, I had a great team. I had you know, we made a difference. We were awarded actually national commendation for helping families in our and our people in their in their deployments. So we we did great things, but we also we had six warehouses that used to build Navy ships. We had 16 acres. We were on the Sabine River. We had landing craft. We had the Mexican navy would pull into my pier. You know, I just it was very fascinating. We had a veterans fair with 4000 people that came on to the base one year, and we celebrated and we delivered Purple Hearts and we had balloons that flew. And I'm proud to be an American playing. And and that community was just so great. And they, you know, when I left, they they named you know, I had a day named after me and they they commissioned a portrait and I got two keys to two cities. And my boardroom turned a sword and they gave me a sword and said, We will follow you into battle anywhere. So it was a really very special, special command.

I just want to say that the there is an anesthesiologist in a 40 year physician who has said that the 39 patch is the most significant medical breakthrough in my lifetime. So there are 60 I've heard 60% of our company are practitioners. There's a reason for that. I think this is going to change medicine in the future. Quite honestly, we do not have to be. You know, most people only think in terms of pharmaceuticals and surgeries, and that's because most doctors are trained by a curriculum that is established by Big Pharma. So that's what they know. But as more and more doctors are sharing with more doctors and doctors who are courageous sharing with patients, I just think that this has the opportunity to just just change the landscape of medicine.

Well, that's great. You can have ice within yourself at any time. And you take Motrin so bad for your stomach right? And you know, all of these things are bad for your microbiome, which is bad for your brain. There are seven signals that go from your gut to your brain for every one that goes from the brain to the gut. So we really want to take care of our of our gut health and something that is this easy but actually more effective. There was a guy that had seven foot surgeries and had taken morphine and Percocet for over two decades every single day. And he started on Ice Wave. He said the ice wave did more for him than the morphine. So he stopped taking his morphine immediately. And now he's only down to one Percocet on the hours that he's not on the ice wave. And he's not even always having to because of the 39 in the iron and the other patches. Things are healing up for him and he's not even having to do the ice wave all the time. So he is just a changed person. He's walking about. He couldn't even walk before. So it's really, really changing people's lives. And I love that. It's not just not just not doing harm, it's actually doing good.

Can I put in something now? You have to just hard to do so. So so I work I do a lot of social work that's that's my focus nonprofit world all of that. I think something like this would be phenomenal for the populations of people that I work with, but they aren't. They're the Medicaid people. They're the people that, you know, out-of-pocket costs are just not a thing. So I don't know where the company is now. I know it's much more cost effective than a lot of the other treatments that you talked about, But it still is prohibitive for certain populations that really could drastically change their whole family systems and lives with that. So if you have connections with whoever is making those decisions, it would be amazing to have a community, some sort of community service, or just something where it recognizes that those populations could really use the assistance to do that.

Yeah, you're not wrong, Alicia. I know that the owner and founder and visionary David Schmidt has actually donated a lot of patches. He donated a lot to Maui. He's donated to our veterans. So there are programs to help. I mean, the the company, even though it's been in existence for 20 years, it's really since this x 39 patch, which has only been in existence for years. It's it's grown 20 times in the last four years. So it's exploding. And I would say this anybody who really is willing to work for the patch, like you can just join the business. It doesn't take very many people for you to share the patch with, to buy the patch under you, to pay for your own patches so it truly can be accessible to anyone who can reach out and help others find the patches. Right. Because it can be it can be a source of income.

You know, I think I actually have thought about this question because I know you ask this question and it's a very good question and it's a hard question. Thank you. I think that when I think about what I would like people to know, 

it is it is that it is more around 

there. Are there are risks, but we only control our response. So one of the things I've had to learn in life is that you don't get to be the puppeteer. So there's this philosophy and it's it's not that in common that, you know, we don't get to manage everything that's happening to our lives or in our lives, but we get to manage our response to that thing. And many people take and respond the way a doctor tells them they have to respond. I mean, the doctors told me there's no cure for your autoimmune disorders, there's no cure for fibromyalgia, there's no cure for chronic fatigue, there's no cure for Potts, there's no cure for Alzheimer's. There's nothing we can do. Check back in with me in a year. We'll see how you're doing. So it's really easy to give up hope. And I think that there is a very there's a good reason to keep looking. Your alternative answer. This is one of many. You know, we tried pulsed electromagnetic frequency maps. We've we've tried we have tried a lot of things. I have not stopped fighting. And I would just say, first of all, there's benefit in fighting, right? You feel like you're doing something. And that helps me even if it's right, even it's not maybe curing anything, but it's just helping him in some ways that's helpful. But to having the 

the acceptance, I'm trying to look at Alzheimer's. This is a very challenging thing. Even my husband's quick progression so I could look at that as like a curse or I could say what a blessing that instead of taking 12 or 14 years for him to go from stage two to stage six A that he's done it in two years because who wants to live with this dementia and these and these limitations for very long? Who wants to drag that out? So how we think about things affects our health. I think we forget how much it affects our health, how our attitudes and our responses to things are just critical to everything. And and I would I would just say, hold on for that hope and don't let anything extinguish the light inside of you and keep working towards the best optimal life you can have, whatever that looks like.
