Ron Filling just retired after 42 years in the automotive industry, most recently as the General Manager of Thompson Automotive of Harford County. He and his wife Linda have been married for 38 years and have four children, fourteen grandkids, and two great-grandchildren, with a third on the way in October. Currently, Ron plans to devote all of his free time to charity work. In addition to working with Extreme Family Outreach, the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce, and numerous non-profit organizations in the Route 40 Corridor, he is assisting Dr. Hill at Harford Community College with the recruitment of young people interested in learning trades.
Dr. Austin Hill is the Director for Strategic Partnerships at Harford Community College. The Leading Edge Training Center Powered by the Ratcliffe Foundation, was founded at Harford Community College under his direction to help residents of Harford County, Maryland acquire marketable skills and find gainful work. Also, he collaborated with the Boys & Girls Club of Harford & Cecil County to provide that area's underserved youth with access to much-required
